Engagement Session at Princess Point | Hamilton Wedding Photographer

Truth be told, engagement sessions are my favourite types of sessions I like to shoot as a Hamilton Wedding Photographer. It's when I really get a chance to get to know the couples and mutally as beneficial, they get to know me a little better too. There’s nothing like the magic of an engagement session to celebrate love, laughter, and the exciting journey ahead. When you combine that with the natural beauty of Princess Point in Hamilton, you get a picture-perfect setting which provides the perfect backdrop. Whether you’re drawn to the tranquil waters, lush greenery, or golden hour glow, Princess Point has it all!

For this engagement session, we planned our shoot around sunrise golden hour—that magical time just just after the sun rises when the light is soft and warm. An added bonus is that there are very few if anybody else around. At Princess Point, the rising sun reflects off the water, creating a gorgeous glow that made this couple’s love shine even brighter. The sunrise gave us the perfect opportunity for them to be themselves to capture those romantic, close-up shots with the couple wrapped in each other's arms, framed by the glowing sky and shimmering water.
